Aiden Fucci, whose parents are unknown, was arrested on Sunday evening, and he was charged with second-degree murder. He was accused of the death of Tristyn Bailey, a 13-year-old classmate.
Aiden is a normal school-going kid of 14 years who used to go to the same school as Tristyn. They both used to go to the Patriot Oaks Academy.
Tristyn Bailey was found dead in her St. Johns County neighborhood. According to reports the same day, she was last seen at roughly 1.15 am near the North Amenity Center. Tristyn was the cheerleader in the school.
Tristyn body was found in a wooded area about 6 pm Sunday by a neighbor. Her body was discovered about after eight hours of her parents called 911. Her parents were devasted after she was not found anywhere.
Sherrif Hardwick is investigating the murder case. According to the Sherrif’s office, the discovery of Bailey’s body and the remarks made by the Fucci led the investigators to the Aiden.
Hardwick confirmed that Tristyn’s body was fully clothed. The cause of death is not revealed.
Aiden has not accepted and revealed the murder and has not told how and why he killed her.
