Is there bad blood between Noah Cyrus and YouTuber Tana Mongeau? Well, it depends on who you ask.

Mongeau, 20, claimed in a YouTube video posted on Tuesday, May 14, that Cyrus, 19, hated her because of rapper Lil Xan, whom they both dated in the past. “I hear from a bunch of other people that [Noah] just, like, hates me,” the “Hefner” wordsmith said in the 40-minute video. “It hurt. It still hurts.”

The social media influencer explained how she later ran into the “Stay Together” songstress at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, which the latter attended with Lil Xan, 22. “I turn to see Lil Xan beelining toward me,” Mongeau recalled. “And I see, out of my peripheral [vision], a very, very unhappy Noah Cyrus walking up to us. And I’m standing there … and she looks at me and it’s just this awkward-ass silence. … She just looks so f—king unhappy that she even had to, like, walk up to us.”

The MTV reality star noted that the situation was “awkward,” so she proceeded to compliment the youngest member of the Cyrus family. Mongeau continued, “[Noah] looks at me up and down and goes, ‘Nice to meet you,’ … and just, like, shoulder-checks my ass.”

Shortly after the YouTube personality posted her video, Cyrus took to social media to clear up the drama. “Lol this is hilarious i deff dont hate you and for sure turned the opposite direction of you no shoulder check,” the teenager tweeted. “Lets [sic] hangout and talk about how bitchy girls are to other girls @tanamongeau dm me.”

Mongeau, who is admittedly a big fan of the “All Falls Down” singer and her older sister Miley Cyrus, freaked out over the tweet. Mongeau replied, “Omg. wow. love u. love this. wow. girls sticking together.”

Noah and Lil Xan dated for one month before they announced their split in September 2018 amid a series of cheating accusations. The Ponyo voice actress later told BreatheHeavy.com that the breakup left her in a state of “mourning.”

She expressed, “It’s like losing somebody — you mourn that person. It’s like your body is in it. Like, it hurts physically — when you miss somebody — there’s so many emotions in losing somebody that you spent so much time with.”

Lil Xan moved on with Annie Smith, and the pair announced in February that they were expecting a baby together. Two months later, Smith claimed she had a miscarriage. However, the rapper admitted that he is not sure if his girlfriend faked the pregnancy.

“I saw two pregnancy tests with the line that said, ‘You’re pregnant,’ and I was like, ‘OK, so she’s definitely pregnant.’ But I didn’t watch her pee,” he explained in April. “It really gets you thinking, you know what I mean? I want to give her the benefit of the doubt.”

Mongeau, for her part, ended her year-long open relationship with Bella Thorne in February.
