Lisa Vanderpump finally spoke out after her mother’s sudden death, saying “a tragic year for sure,” among other things.

Lisa Vanderpump has not had the best year, and the sudden death of her mother, Jean Vanderpump, in England, made things more difficult for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star.

Vanderpump, who has stayed away from the press since she got the sad news, finally spoke up with a post on social media. The reality star tweeted a photo, writing as the caption that her mother is now resting in peace with her brother, Mark Vanderpump, who committed suicide by drug overdose at the age of 59 at his home in Gloucestershire, England.

The mother-of-two added “a tragic year for sure,” after which she thanked her fans for their “beautiful messages and words of kindness.” Lisa ended the tweet with a reflection on how fragile life is, and she informed her fans that she has no time for negativity.

Shortly after, Vanderpump shared another tweet of beautiful bouquets of flower arranged neatly in her home, writing,

“Wonderful acts of kindness as I now live in a flower shop.”

The reality star’s mother passed away on June 17, and at the time, a representative of the “Vanderpump Rules” star told ET that she was shocked and devastated, and taking time away to heal and travel to England to plan for the deceased’s funeral.

A source close to the reality star reiterated this to DailyMail. According to the news outlet, Vanderpump was quite close to her mother, and the news of her death hit her hard.

However, the source is confident that the TV personality and entrepreneur would get back on her feet and will be back to running her businesses and shooting the new season of “Vanderpump Rules.”

Vanderpump has had a tough year; aside from the death of her brother and mother, the TV star had a difficult time shooting season nine of "RHOBH" and told DailyMail weeks before her mum passed, that she would not return to the Bravo show.

The reality star told Us Weekly that it was the support of her fans that got her through the ninth season, and she had to take antidepressants and attend grief counselling to overcome her pain.

Despite all the unfortunate events in Vanderpump's life, she’s had little victories like opening up a new TomTom and Cocktail Garden in Vegas, and she’s focused on celebrating the positives in her life.
