What better way to celebrate the release of a new Potter film than with cake?
Harry Potter fans have a lot to be excited about recently. First off, the 12 days of socks are seriously making me jealous of my wife's footwear right now. And the Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery Game is the most magical way to be as unproductive as possible.
After the 20th-anniversary of the Sorcerer Stone's release last year, Potterheads have been looking for the next big HP theater release to get their fix — but they'll sadly have to wait until November for the next Fantastic Beasts movie to drop.
But that doesn't mean they need to wait that long to see Harry Potter on the big screen, because select theaters will be marathoning all the Harry Potter films, including Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, from August 31st through September 6th.
All Cinemark XD theaters will be offering screenings of the films for $5 a pop. But die-hard Potterheads can buy a pass to watch all nine movies throughout the week for only $25. Sounds like a steal, especially considering you'll spend roughly 700 times that amount on concessions.
The pass also comes with some bonus goodies: Potter-themed keychains, collectible cups, and badges to celebrate the Wizarding World Festival XD.
Tickets are already on sale, so if this is something up your alley, you should totally get on it by clicking here.
And while you're there, you might want to buy Cinemark's special edition "Fantastic Beasts" cup, as you'll be able to use it for a refill when you watch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald once it drops on November 16th.
Although there's more than one way to celebrate your fascination with Harry Potter, like binge-watching the movies in theaters or buying collectible wands, it seems like fans have come up with sweeter ways to do it.
Like crafting amazing Harry Potter cakes.
There were more than a few people who baked to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first book's publication.
And some people baked them to celebrate the most important day of their lives. No, not the time they met Mike Tyson at a Cheesecake factory in Teaneck, NJ — the other most important day of their lives.
That's right, people love Harry Potter so much that they want to marry it. OK, well, that's a stretch, but they want to get married with it, in a way.
To be honest I'm still in awe of this Sugar Geek tutorial on their Harry Potter wedding cake.
The party cakes some people craft aren't any less impressive, and they do get pretty granular with their references.
Like quidditch.
Instagram's just full of incredible potter-themed desserts.
No Harry Potter-themed anything list would be complete without featuring homeboy's white owl.
Something tells me Hermione would really approve of this cake.
They all really look so delicious.
Lot of Hufflepuff cake-lovers out there, too. Guess they need something to be excited about — I mean, they are the worst house and all, even if they have the best name.
I can't think of a better way to spend a week than getting blazed with my friends, watching Harry Potter movies, then coming back home and eating cake. Unless we were binge-watching Jean Claude Van Damme films, then ... yeah.
